Reliable, fast internet — built around the student lifestyle in Machakos. No setup fee. No expensive contracts. Just connect and focus on what matters.
Wima Internet was founded by Leon Mwendia after he noticed a problem that most ISPs were ignoring: students in Machakos desperately needed internet, but couldn't access it.
The existing providers charged steep installation fees just to get started — money most students simply didn't have. And even when they could afford the setup, the monthly subscriptions were far too high for a student budget.
So Leon built Wima Internet with one clear mission: give every student in Machakos access to reliable, affordable internet — with zero installation fee and a flat Ksh 1,000 per month. No hidden costs, no contracts, no barriers.
We're still growing, and we're still pushing to make our prices even lower. Because we believe no student should have to choose between buying data and buying lunch.
Every decision we make — pricing, support, installation — is designed around the reality of student life in Machakos.
No upfront installation cost, ever. We removed the biggest barrier stopping students from getting connected in the first place.
One simple price. No tiers, no surprises. And we're actively working to bring that number down even further.
We're a local business. We live here too. Our reputation is built one student at a time — and we don't take that lightly.
We built Wima Internet for students — and when families and businesses came knocking, we made room for them too.
